This is a special rod that I made from some old large F E Thomas Mahogany blanks. I
de-laminated them and re-milled them into a 6624 taper. I finished it with a Dickerson style
cap and ring reel seat .

This is a Special Para 14 7'9 for a 5wgt, I built this rod with Pre Embargo cane, original unmarked
Paul Young reel seat hardware and original marked Super Z ferrules which were given to me by Art
Neumann, wrapped in bronze silk.
